Finding and supporting small businesses in your community.

This post is not sponsored and I do not receive a commission for anything written here. Just a bit of information I thought this community may find useful.

Finding and supporting small businesses in your community.

Last week, before the New England Patriots COVID-19 outbreak I was watching the game with my husband when one of the commercials for supporting local small businesses popped up.

My husband turned and stated:

“I know we support small businesses…”

I paused for a moment, not knowing if I should answer. It almost seemed as if he were waiting for me to engage in the conversation so I responded with a simple:

“Yes!”

My response to his next question prompted me to ask the same of you:

“How is it that you are finding so many local small businesses owners and entrepreneurs to interview? How is it that other people find local businesses if they can’t get out to go find them anymore?”

“How is it that people find local businesses if they can’t get out to go find them anymore?”

Now, my husband is not one to ‘talk shop’! Listening to me drone on about procedure creation is not something he is super interested in.

SIDE NOTE: This is totally unrelated but yes, the recognition and respect of such, is part of how to maintain a happy marriage! Much like him describing a game play in detail….. umm, no thanks.

When he actually asked me to explain a procedure, In The Middle Of A Game, I almost fainted… but I was too excited! Instead I began detailing the multiple ways the systems I have designed go about locating and vetting guests for the show. I was gushing about one particular platform I utilize regularly and I realized it was a perfect bit of information to share with the community!

Are you like my husband and curious about how to find local small businesses?

Are you like my husband and curious about how to find local small businesses without scouring your neighborhood creepily or searching one street at a time via Google Maps? Then it’s time you check out Alignable.com!

You can find more and more small businesses and entrepreneurs popping up on multiple social media platforms daily.  If you attempt to filter on most platforms the results are generally diluted with multiple personalities aside from local small business owners.

When I want to shop with or support local small businesses, I generally begin by reviewing the newest members of my favorite online community Alignable.com. The platform provides a quick way to spot and support entrepreneurs and small business owners in your local community with great ease!

This is strictly a community of entrepreneurs and small businesses owners.  That doesn’t mean you can’t browse the community and find local businesses… you totally can!! In fact I encourage you to find the small businesses in and around your community and support them in any way you can!

If you’re an entrepreneur or small business owner and you’re not on Alignable.com….. what are you waiting for? If it’s an invitation… here it is! Please join us!

Find the small businesses in and around your community and support them in any way you can!

The Alignable.com platform allows members to quickly and easily grow a business network and networking opportunities. Members can quickly create a profile for their practice and the platform immediately and automatically notifies all members of your local community via email that you have joined. This email alerts members to an opportunity to connect with pre-formatted, customizable text messages.

A weekly community newsletter is published and packed with events in your community or events, posted by your local community members along with useful information to help you introduce and grow your business.

The community is geared towards getting your local community of small business owners and entrepreneurs connected with a built in search feature. The search and invite features also allow you to connect with business owners you know nationwide, member or not!

Becoming a member is completely free and the only fees involved are for the Premium Memberships. As your business and network grow, the radius in which you begin searching may also grow. The wider the radius the more the premium membership fee. All local features are free!

No, this is not a sponsored ad and no I am not receiving any compensation for this article. Just a bit of information I thought you could all use if you haven’t joined us already. Thank my husband for this one…. and this was only the last part of what I shared with him before running off to write this piece!
